Every great vision needs someone who knows how to make it work.

As co-owner of Heritage Loan Company, Jon is the financial strategist behind the business, managing cash flow, evaluating risk, and developing loan solutions that work for both customers and Heritage.

With extensive knowledge of firearms, jewelry, coins, and collectibles, he’s often the person the team turns to for guidance on unusual merchandise and larger transactions.

But Jon isn’t just working behind the scenes. He’s equally likely to be negotiating a loan, evaluating a rare find, or doing the heavy lifting during one of Liz’s latest renovations.

What he’s most proud of is building a business with his wife that has earned the community’s trust and offers customers an experience they don’t expect from a pawnshop.

His philosophy is simple: Focus on the customer, not just the transaction.

THE CURATOR

Liz | Co-Owner & Pawnbroker

Some people walk into an old pawnshop and see clutter. Liz saw potential.

With a background in mechanical engineering and a passion for interior design, Liz brings both technical thinking and creative vision to Heritage Loan Company.

Since purchasing the business with Jon in 2021, she’s been the driving force behind its transformation, from renovations and merchandising to branding and creating an inviting atmosphere.

With expertise in designer goods, jewelry, antiques, vintage finds, and Native American pieces, she’s often the person the team turns to when something unusual comes through the door.

And while she’s always planning the next renovation, she’s also developed a surprising attachment to the shop’s taxidermy collection. Especially Harry, who’s probably never leaving.

What makes her proudest is hearing customers say Heritage is the nicest pawnshop they’ve ever visited.

For Liz, Heritage is more than a business. It’s an extension of herself and a place where she wants everyone to feel like family.

THE ARMORER

Brianna | Firearms Specialist & Pawnbroker

Sometimes you discover your passion in the most unexpected place.

Brianna has been part of Heritage since the beginning, originally considering bench jewelry as a specialty she could develop and make her own.

But somewhere along the way, she discovered her real passion: firearms. Today, she’s pursuing formal gunsmithing education while helping customers and caring for the shop’s firearms inventory.

With a growing knowledge of firearms, maintenance, and accessories, she’s become a familiar face in the firearms department and enjoys sharing what she’s learned with customers.

Among her most memorable finds are rare firearms and, surprisingly, gold teeth. Her dream acquisition? A German MG34 machine gun.

When asked to describe herself in three words, her answer was simple: “Guns, guns, guns.”

Dedicated. Curious. Passionate.

For Brianna, Heritage has been a place to explore her interests, discover her strengths, and build a future around something she genuinely loves.

The Armorer found her calling — and she’s just getting started.

THE TRANSLATOR

Robert | Salesperson & Pawnbroker in Training

Every great team needs someone who knows how to connect with people.

Robert brings an easygoing personality, a love of vintage firearms, and a talent for making customers feel welcome at Heritage Loan Company.

As a salesperson and pawnbroker in training, he helps bridge language barriers for Spanish-speaking customers while developing his knowledge of the pawn business.

His interests include firearms, tools, jewelry, and gold, and he’s particularly eager to learn more about precious metal authentication and identifying valuable merchandise.

One of his most memorable encounters involved a pair of pink ballerina shoes brought in by an unexpected customer. Proof that you never know what will walk through the door.

His favorite lesson from the business? “Everything has a value to someone.”

Easygoing. Curious. Personable.

And if he could take home anything? A vintage radio from the 1920s.

The Translator knows that every object — and every person — has a story worth understanding.

THE DISCOVERER

Jazmine | Pawnbroker

Even with years of experience, there’s always something new to discover.

Jazmine joined Heritage with approximately five years of experience in corporate pawnbroking, bringing a solid foundation in the business and a fresh perspective to the team.

At Heritage, she’s discovering a different side of the pawn industry, where specialized departments, unusual merchandise, and one-of-a-kind treasures make every day interesting.

Jewelry is her favorite department, but she’s also eager to expand her knowledge of firearms, coins, and the unique collectibles that come through our doors.

One of her most memorable discoveries has been the shop’s bear rug. But if she could take home anything, her choice would be Harry, our resident musk ox.

Her philosophy is simple: “Every day I learn something new.”

For Jazmine, Heritage is an opportunity to build on what she already knows while continuing to explore everything the business has to offer.

The Discoverer knows there’s always another treasure waiting to be found.

THE STRATEGIST

Jaxson | Sales & Technical Specialist

Some people see a problem. Jaxson sees something he can figure out.

As the second child in the Terrigino family, Jaxson has been part of Heritage since the beginning, bringing a technical mind and a natural talent for problem-solving to the business.

From troubleshooting firearms to testing electronics, he’s become one of the team’s go-to people when something needs a closer look.

But his contributions extend beyond the counter. Jaxson has helped design and build displays throughout the shop, particularly in the firearms department, and takes pride in helping transform that space.

With a strong interest in firearms, engineering, and how things work, he’s always looking for ways to improve the shop and the customer experience.

One of his most memorable pieces? A German MG34. His dream acquisition? A Nagant M1895 revolver.

Hardworking. Adaptable. Knowledgeable.

For Jaxson, Heritage is a place to apply his skills, take on new challenges, and help build something for the future.

THE BUILDER

Maddox | eBay Sales & Technology

The youngest member of the Terrigino family is already finding his own way to contribute to Heritage.

Maddox has been part of the business since the beginning, growing up around the unusual merchandise, fascinating discoveries, and constant projects that make Heritage anything but ordinary.

With a passion for coding, technology, and problem-solving, he brings a fresh perspective to the shop and enjoys finding ways to make things work more efficiently.

From helping with eBay sales to developing an app to manage entries for our fifth anniversary giveaway, Maddox is putting his technical skills to work on real projects.

His interests include computers, gaming, and firearms, but one particular piece of Heritage history has captured his attention: Billy Joel’s motorcycle.

If he could take home anything from the shop, that would be his choice.

And his favorite part of working at Heritage? “Earning money for myself.” 😂
